My name is Oscar Martin, and I am the UK South Sales Manager at AVIRE. I hold a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Birmingham and began my career in the manufacturing technology sector. I received extensive sales training at Keyence Ltd, working in the traceability and inspection division, before moving to Bosch Rexroth to take on larger projects and develop my project management skills, earning the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification along the way. Wanting to bring my career full circle and make use of both my civil engineering background and experience with electrical and mechanical technologies, I joined AVIRE in September 2024 to manage the London and South East region.

What attracted me to AVIRE was the opportunity to take on a new challenge that aligned with my academic background, while also joining a business with a fantastic culture and clear ambition for growth. I was excited to be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What I enjoy most about my role is the problem-solving aspect and building strong, long-lasting relationships with customers. No two days are the same, each customer brings unique requirements and priorities, which keeps my work engaging and dynamic. I believe customers value our genuine commitment to their success, and that’s reflected in the support we provide and the relationships we’ve built. One memorable example was working with a customer to streamline their operation by developing a product package that catered to a range of needs, from budget-conscious to high-end applications. Since implementing these tailored solutions, the customer has seen a 78% increase in their project wins within just four months.
