My name is Ron Eggle, and I’m a Product Design Engineering Degree Apprentice (Mechanical) at AVIRE. I joined the AVIRE team in September 2025 after completing my A-levels at Colyton Grammar School. Before joining AVIRE, I gained valuable engineering experience through work placements with CME, Patrick James Eggle Guitars and Numatic International.

I was drawn to AVIRE because of its commitment to its people and the opportunity to work for a company that develops products which make a real difference to people’s safety. The part of my role I enjoy most is the chance to learn new skills, take on new challenges and contribute to improving products that can help save lives. Since joining AVIRE, I have been involved in the development of Smart 3D for the American market, giving me valuable hands-on experience in product design and development.
