BOSS Controllers
RATH® BOSS Controllers serve as the central intelligence of the Addressable SmartCommand System, managing emergency communication between addressable call boxes, emergency phone lines, and monitoring devices. Designed for applications ranging from small buildings to large multi-floor facilities, the BOSS Controller provides centralized programming, system supervision, and dependable communication for code-compliant emergency communication systems. Available in multiple capacities and wiring configurations, the BOSS Controller portfolio supports up to 128 addressable call boxes with scalable system layouts to meet a wide range of project requirements. Built-in supervision continuously monitors power, telephone lines, and communication loops, while over-the-wire firmware updates and flexible mounting options simplify installation, maintenance, and future system expansion.
SmartCommand Emergency Call Boxes
RATH® Emergency Call Boxes provide addressable, hands-free emergency communication for Areas of Refuge. Operating as part of the Addressable SmartCommand System, each call box communicates with the SmartCommand BOSS Controller to provide reliable two-way voice communication, centralized programming, and continuous system supervision for code-compliant emergency communication systems.Available in surface mount, flush mount, and exterior-rated configurations, the portfolio includes optional protective cover models to provide additional protection in demanding environments. Daisy-chain wiring simplifies installation while stainless steel construction, NEMA 4 protection on exterior models, and centralized programming provide the flexibility and durability required across a wide range of commercial, healthcare, education, and public facility applications.
SmartCommand Call Commanders
RATH® SmartCommand Call Commander provides centralized monitoring and management of emergency calls within the Addressable SmartCommand System. Designed for continuous supervision of Areas of Refuge, the Call Commander displays active calls, prioritizes alarms by location and urgency, and enables hands-free communication with individual call boxes or all call boxes from a single location. Available in desk, flush mount, and surface mount configurations, the Call Commander provides flexible installation options for security desks, command centers, and facility management offices. Compatible with all SmartCommand BOSS Controllers, it features an LCD monitoring panel, centralized programming, and dependable system integration to simplify emergency communication management across facilities of all sizes.
SmartCommand Battery Backup Units
RATH® SmartCommand Battery Backup Units provide reliable backup power for Addressable SmartCommand Systems during utility power outages. Designed to maintain system operation when primary power is lost, the portfolio includes battery backup solutions for SmartCommand BOSS Controllers and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) applications, helping facilities maintain code-compliant emergency communication when it matters most. Available with LiFePO4 and maintenance-free sealed lead-acid battery technologies, the SmartCommand Battery Backup Unit portfolio delivers 24-hour standby and 4-hour emergency operation while providing continuous monitoring through the SmartCommand BOSS Controller. Long battery life, integrated protection, and dependable performance make these systems well suited for commercial, healthcare, education, transportation, and public safety applications.
