Overview
The RATH® SAFE-1020 Head End serves as the centralized hub of a fiber-based Public Safety DAS, distributing public safety radio signals to SAFE-1015 remote units throughout a building or campus. Its fiber architecture supports long-distance signal distribution, making it well suited for larger or more complex facilities where RF coverage must extend across multiple areas from a centralized head end.

Supporting UHF, VHF, FirstNet, 700, 800, and 900 MHz frequency bands depending on configuration, the SAFE-1020 provides a scalable platform for varying public safety radio requirements. Plug-in channel cards simplify system expansion and servicing, while expansion modules allow the system to support an unlimited number of remote units. Small and large NEMA 4 enclosure options, digital filtering, and compatibility with RATH® battery backup units and remote annunciators provide additional flexibility for project-specific Public Safety DAS deployments.
