SAFE-1015 (Remote Unit)
The RATH® SAFE-1015 Remote Unit extends Public Safety DAS coverage from the SAFE-1020 head end, using fiber connectivity to transport RF signals across larger buildings and distributed facilities. Designed for applications where coverage must extend beyond the head-end location, the SAFE-1015 supports flexible placement of remote signal amplification throughout the building. Supporting UHF, VHF, FirstNet, 700, 800, and 900 MHz frequency bands depending on configuration, the SAFE-1015 provides multi-band flexibility for varying public safety radio requirements. Digital filtering, adjustable gain, small and large NEMA 4 enclosure options, and compatibility with RATH® battery backup units and remote annunciators provide a scalable solution for fiber-based Public Safety DAS deployments.

SAFE-1020 (Head End Unit)
The RATH® SAFE-1020 Head End serves as the centralized hub of a fiber-based Public Safety DAS, distributing public safety radio signals to SAFE-1015 remote units throughout a building or campus. Its fiber architecture supports long-distance signal distribution, making it well suited for larger or more complex facilities where RF coverage must extend across multiple areas from a centralized head end. Supporting UHF, VHF, FirstNet, 700, 800, and 900 MHz frequency bands depending on configuration, the SAFE-1020 provides a scalable platform for varying public safety radio requirements. Plug-in channel cards simplify system expansion and servicing, while expansion modules allow the system to support an unlimited number of remote units. Small and large NEMA 4 enclosure options, digital filtering, and compatibility with RATH® battery backup units and remote annunciators provide additional flexibility for project-specific Public Safety DAS deployments.

Battery Backup Unit
The RATH® SAFE-BBU-1000 and SAFE-BBU-2000 Battery Backup Units provide reliable backup power for Public Safety DAS applications, helping maintain system operation during loss of primary AC power. An integrated AC power supply provides seamless transition to battery operation, while LiFePO4 battery technology delivers long service life and dependable performance for critical public safety communication systems. Available in 12- or 24-hour backup configurations, the Battery Backup Units provide flexibility to meet project-specific requirements. Integrated NFPA alarm outputs support system supervision, while an External Power-Off (EPO) input enables emergency shutdown when required. Both models are housed in NEMA 4 enclosures and provide 9–12 VDC output for compatible Public Safety DAS equipment.

SAFE-AN-1002 (Remote Annunciator)
The RATH® SAFE-AN-1002 Remote Annunciator provides centralized monitoring and notification of Public Safety DAS conditions, allowing personnel to quickly identify system issues from a remote location. Compatible with all RATH® BDAs and head-end systems, the annunciator uses visual and audible alerts to provide clear indication of monitored system conditions. Designed for flexible installation, the SAFE-AN-1002 connects to the BDA using a single CAT5 cable that provides both power and alarm connectivity at distances up to 1,000 feet. Form-C relays support external notifications and fire alarm panel connections, while a magnetic switch simplifies system testing and alarm muting. Recessed or flush mounting options and a NEMA 4 enclosure support installation across a range of Public Safety DAS applications.
