Overview

The RATH® SAFE-1030 is a flexible, multi-band Public Safety Distributed Antenna System (DAS) designed to improve in-building radio coverage for first responders. Supporting UHF, VHF, FirstNet, 700, 800, and 900 MHz frequency bands depending on configuration, the SAFE-1030 provides a versatile BDA platform for buildings and jurisdictions with varying public safety radio requirements.

Designed around a modular channel-card architecture, the SAFE-1030 can be configured and expanded to meet project-specific frequency and coverage requirements. Digital filtering, adjustable gain control, integrated alarm outputs, and compatibility with battery backup units and remote annunciators support reliable system performance, while small and large NEMA 4 enclosure options provide flexibility for installations of varying size and complexity.

Multi-Band Signal Amplification

Supports UHF, VHF, FirstNet, 700, 800, and 900 MHz frequency bands.
Multi-band architecture supports project-specific radio requirements.
Digital filtering delivers clear, reliable signal coverage.
Supports 50–90 dB typical gain range.

Modular System Architecture

Modular channel cards simplify configuration, expansion, and servicing.
Small enclosure supports up to 10 channel cards.
Large enclosure supports up to 20 channel cards.
Digital filters are expandable to accommodate system requirements.

Monitoring & Alarms

Provides six NFPA alarm outputs.
Includes oscillation and enclosure door alarms.
Monitors communication with the remote annunciator.
Supports integration with remote annunciation equipment.

Installation & Power

Available in small and large cabinet configurations.
NEMA 4 enclosure supports demanding installation environments.
Compatible with dedicated battery backup units.
120 VAC power configuration available as an option.
