Each Area of Refuge requires hands-free, two-way emergency communication devices (Call Boxes) on each floor above/below the main exit floor.
- The IP Command Center Call Boxes, designed to handle up to 128 Call Boxes, provide a seamless means of communication between stranded individuals, rescue personnel, and offsite parties
- Utilizing Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), these Call Boxes offer a clear connection over a network or internet, ensuring efficient communication
Power Requirements: Requires power over Ethernet at 802.3af Ethernet power must include a battery backup system in case of power loss Wiring Requirements: Requires Cat5e or better cable (maximum length of 300′ between network switches) Programming Features: On-site programming Programmable with up to 5 emergency numbers Recordable location message (18 seconds) Phone Capabilities: Automatic dialer (31 digit programmable memory) Automatic answer feature with audible ring Compatible with Command Center for in-building rescue coordination Optional Features: Add model 2500-VOIPM to supervise the complete RATH IP system Warranty: 2 years
