Overview

The RATH® 2500 SmartView Command Center provides centralized monitoring and communication for elevator emergency communication systems, offering a flexible solution for buildings with multiple elevators and extended travel distances. As part of the SmartView In-Building Communication System, it delivers voice and visual text communication from a single location to support coordinated emergency response.

The system integrates with SmartView 2 units to create a comprehensive emergency communication platform. A built-in phone enables direct voice communication with trapped passengers, while the integrated touchscreen supports visual text communication to meet ADA accessibility requirements. Live elevator camera feeds allow building personnel and first responders to visually assess elevator conditions and passenger status, improving situational awareness during emergencies.

The 2500 SmartView Command Center utilizes a zoned architecture that provides dedicated connections for each elevator or machine room unit while minimizing additional wiring. Available in surface or flush mount configurations, the system is designed to meet ASME A17.1 2019/CSA B44-19, IBC 2018, FCC Part 15, IEC 61000, ISED, and ADA requirements.

User-Friendly Interface

Equipped with a handset and speakerphone, the Command Center enables seamless two-way calls and text-based messaging with elevator passengers. LEDs illuminate to indicate active lines and initiated calls for rapid response.

Visual Call Indicators

Bright LED indicators show the status of each elevator call – simplifying monitoring and enabling staff to quickly identify active zones.

Scalable System Capacity

Supports from one up to 116 phone units, making it suitable for small buildings as well as high-rise complexes.

Integrated Monitoring & Control

Call boxes offer intuitive push-button operation; staff can passively monitor communications thanks to dedicated LED status lights.

Emergency Workflow Support

Once an alert message plays, operators can immediately initiate two-way voice communication with passengers trapped inside elevator cabs.
