The JANUS® SMART3DSYSTEM combines Panachrome+ 2D detectors with the Smart3D sensor to deliver multi-dimensional door protection that enhances passenger safety and improves detection performance in challenging elevator environments. The integrated 3D infrared and microwave technology helps reduce false door triggers, detects passengers approaching the elevator while ignoring cross-traffic, and performs reliably in ambient light and reflective conditions.
Available in standard and slim detector profiles, the SMART3DSYSTEM supports both center- and side-opening door configurations and provides clear red and green visual indicators to show door movement and detection status.
