Overview

The RATH® Command Center provides centralized communication between elevator systems and on-site personnel, helping teams quickly identify and respond to calls from elevator cabs and machine rooms. Installed in lobbies, control rooms, or monitoring stations, it serves as the primary communication hub for managing elevator activity during emergencies and routine operations.

Designed for multi-elevator environments, the system simplifies call management with clear identification, organized communication, and flexible installation options. With support for up to 116 zones and streamlined single-pair wiring, it delivers a scalable, cost-effective solution for both new construction and retrofit projects.

System Architecture

Zoned communication system with one zone per elevator car or machine room device.
Central Command Center serves as the primary interface for all communication.
Distribution module connects and manages all field device wiring.
Scalable architecture supporting up to 116 zones.

Call Handling & Identification

Dedicated zone-based identification for each connected device.
LED indicators provide clear visual identification of active calls.
Audible alerts notify personnel of incoming calls.
Built-in call queuing allows multiple devices to share a single phone line.
Centralized interface ensures consistent call handling during high-demand conditions.

Wiring & Infrastructure

Single-pair (22–24 AWG) wiring from field devices to distribution module.
Reduced cabling requirements compared to multi-conductor systems.
Simplifies installation, troubleshooting, and system expansion.
Compatible with analog phone line infrastructure for off-site communication.

Communication Capabilities

Supports intercom communication between Command Center and connected devices.
Optional off-site calling via analog (POTS, PBX, or central office) lines.
DTMF signaling for reliable communication over standard telephone infrastructure.
Designed to operate within standard telecom voltage and loop current ranges.

Power & Installation

Powered through distribution module (28 VDC system operation).
Distribution module connects to 110 VAC with battery backup capability.
Available in surface, flush, and desk mount configurations.
