The Americas AVIRE team is looking for passionate, customer-focused individuals to drive new customer acquisition and growth. In this inside sales role, you will proactively prospect and engage new customers through outbound calling, email and virtual outreach.

You will be responsible for identifying new customers, developing relationships, generating qualified opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline and closing new business within your assigned territory. Success in this role requires consistent outbound prospecting, strong communication skills and disciplined pipeline management. This role is ideal for a motivated salesperson who enjoys proactive outreach, building relationships remotely, and turning new prospects into long-term customers.

You will work collaboratively across Customer Service, Technical Support and Marketing with the goal to provide the best customer experience in the industry. This position reports to the North America Sales Manager.

What you will do:

In this role, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle ownership within your assigned accounts and territory, from prospecting to revenue growth and ongoing account management. An ability to understand products, code, the customer’s needs and build relationships in a remote or virtual environment will be key to your success along with disciplined time management and accountability.

  1. Drive revenue growth within your assigned accounts and geography
    • Identify and prospect potential customers within the assigned accounts or geography through daily outbound calling, email and marketing outreach
    • Generate qualified opportunities, build a strong pipeline and close new ordersMonitor market trends and competitor activity within assigned accounts to inform sales plans
    • Partner with marketing to support campaigns, outreach and demand generation within your territory
  2. Develop and maintain relationships to effectively manage accounts
    • Identify decision makers and influencers within your accounts
    • Expand relationships within accounts to new contacts and stakeholders to grow share of wallet
    • Maintain existing relationships to drive continuous growth
  3. Ensure consistent and timely sales execution and reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations and pipeline
    • Build and keep up to date a consistent pipeline of opportunities
    • Effectively use CRM daily to track engagement, follow ups and next steps

Performance Objectives

  1. Sales and profit goals are met or exceeded.
  2. Maintain consistent outbound prospecting activity, pipeline coverage and revenue performance aligned with monthly sales targets.
  3. Current customer accounts are maintained and/or expanded, and additional ones solicited.
  4. Good business relationships exist with customers and their needs are properly anticipated and satisfied.
  5. CRM system is utilized according to company sales process.
  6. Management is appropriately informed of sales area activities and significant problems.
  7. Useful, current feedback regarding field operations and competitive conditions is provided.

Job Skills

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups of people both within, and outside, of the organization
  • Motivated self-starter who can manage time and resources effectively
  • Ability to quickly build trust and develop relationships with customers in a phone-based B2B sales environment
  • Strong phone communication and objection-handling skills
  • Ability to learn and understand life safety systems, products and applicable codes and standards (including ASME, IBC, IFC, NFPA, ADA)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Sales, Engineering, and/or a related field or equivalent experience
  • One to three years of B2B sales, inside sales or outbound prospecting experience
  • Experience with SalesForce and PowerBI, or equivalent, preferred
  • Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility
