Purpose of the role:
This role is to support the growth of the AVIRE Hub and existing tech support team, and an exciting opportunity to drive change along with personal growth. This would suit an IT The Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist will lead the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for AVIRE UK & Europe; ensuring the attraction, selection and onboarding of top talent across all business areas. The role will partner closely with stakeholders to deliver a proactive, inclusive and high quality recruitment service, supporting AVIRE’s growth and people strategy. The postholder will play a key role in shaping early careers and professional pathways, including a focus on apprenticeships and graduate recruitment.
Main responsibilities of the role:
Build strong relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand workforce needs and provide expert recruitment advice.
Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from job design to sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Implement and champion innovative recruitment methods, including digital sourcing, AI, social media, and talent pooling.
- Ownership of the Workday recruiting module for the regions, ensuring workflows and processes support and simplify talent acquisition.
- Source direct candidates for non-management vacancies, provide candidate feedback, offer negotiation support as directed and contract initiation in a way that strengthens and conveys a positive AVIRE employer brand.
- Act as the candidate’s liaison throughout the hiring process ensuring a positive experience.
- Develop excellent relationships across the business, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the recruitment process.
- Utilise data and analytics to monitor recruitment effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Supports career journeys for employees with relocation, visa applications and benefits administration.
- Excellent understanding of Right to Work legislation and be the expert in managing visa applications and processes for AVIRE.
- Understand and ensure compliance with latest employment legislation including GDPR, Data Protection and AVIRE policies.
- Manage relationships with external partners, including agencies and job boards, ensuring value for money and quality of service.
- Maintain and carefully handle confidential information; entering information accurately with attention to detail and updates all monthly reporting processes.
Coach hiring managers on best practice to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout all recruitment activities.

Experience, skills & knowledge required:
- Workday Enterprise Management Program experience is preferential
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting with full recruitment cycle
- Experience with UK and European employment laws
- Experience with UK and European benefits administration, sponsorship legislation and relocation requirements.
- Proven ability to problem-solve.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups of people both within, and outside, of the organization.
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Conversational French or German a plus
- Intermediate level of Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word and confident in learning new systems. HR certification/diploma or proven equivalent experience working specifically in a Human Resources department.
- Experience with recruiting metrics, data and reporting.
