Our emergency communication audio modules create an EN81-28 compliant Digital Communication Platform (DCP) cellular emergency communication system.
The Top of Car (TOC) Digital Audio Unit (DAU) provides a TOC alarm point as well as the ability to use the external speaker and microphone for within the lift car. The TOC DAU is connected to a DCP in the machine room or alternatively the DCP MRL for Machine Room Less installations. The DCP provides the cellular connection and is the ‘brain’ within the system.
The Digital Audio Unit COP (DAU COP) is mounted behind the Car Operating Panel (COP) and works when connected to the DCP.
Wiring Looms for Digital Audio Unit (DAU)
The Digital Audio Unit PIT (DAU PIT) is mounted in the pit of a lift shaft and provides an emergency communication point when connected to the DCP.
The Surface Mount Audio Module is mounted on the COP and is connected to a top of car Digital Audio Unit (DAU), the system works when connected to a DCP.
The Memco Triphony Unit is a compact audio module which is used for alarm points around the lift. The unit can be installed on the top or bottom of the lift car.
The inductive loop provides EN81-70 compliance for hard of hearing passengers. The amplifier component is connected to the Digital Audio Unit (DAU) with 3 different options.
