Marketing Specialist for DACH

An exciting opportunity has now become available at AVIRE. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be part of the European marketing team, where you will be covering on and offline marketing support, planning and communications for the DACH territory.

Reporting to the DACH country manager and the European Marketing Communications Manager, this role offers an exciting opportunity to act as the primary DACH marketing contact for the European Marketing Communications Manager to develop and execute local B2B marketing activities centred on growing and supporting the Sales pipeline within the lift industry.

This permanent position will suit a Marketing Executive with 2-3 years’ experience working on lead generation campaigns, email marketing, social media content creation and amplification, SEO, webinar and event delivery.

We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to both create local campaigns and collaborate with the global team to amplify their campaigns. You’re ideally a self-starter who can contribute to the AVIRE team, and who can spot opportunities to support the local Sales team.

You will be based in Germany and act as the liaison between the DACH country manager and the European Marketing Communications Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with DACH sales team, to define, plan and execute multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns
  • Understand and translate into marketing pieces the value propositions of our product line
  • Plan and implement a content calendar for company channels (email, blog, social media, etc.)
  • Day-to-day management of social media channels
  • Promote the AVIRE brand in DACH markets
  • Establish relationships with local key specialist media and develop press releases
  • Assist in developing and implementing global marketing campaigns that support Avire’s growth goals
  • Update and maintain the German website
  • Optimise content considering SEO and Google Analytics and web traffic metrics
  • Manage Google AdWords and LinkedIn Ad campaigns
  • Localise and update DACH collateral
  • Plan, support and organise webinars and customer events

About you:

  • University degree in marketing or equivalent experience
  • Creative
  • Self-motivated
  • Able to work independently but also within a team

Key Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Native in German
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • An ability to work effectively to deadlines
  • Effectively work with a diverse set of stakeholders to organise and drive multiple workstreams, prioritising during busy times or when urgent needs arise
  • Confident in WordPress
  • Good working knowledge of lead generation, SEO, PPC, marketing automation, social media, CRM, CMS, Google Analytics, AdWords, and PR
  • Strong IT literacy
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Strong consumer and product awareness
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy

Additional skills:

  • Basic graphic design skills
  • Experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop etc.
